The Gros Morne Co-operating Association (GMCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the protection, preservation, interpretation, and development of Gros Morne National Park’s heritage.
Established in 1993, GMCA collaborates with Parks Canada and local communities to enhance visitor experiences and promote sustainable tourism in the Gros Morne region. Our initiatives include operating retail stores like the “Tuckamore Shop,” managing facilities such as the Gros Morne Swimming Pool and ski trails, and partnering with institutions like Memorial University to develop attractions like the Bonne Bay Marine Station.
Our vision is for the Gros Morne region to be recognized as a national center for culture and creativity, inspired by and reflecting the natural environment, attracting international attention.
Mission
GMCA aims to foster regional cooperation, support cultural and economic development, and ensure the sustainability of our communities by leveraging the unique natural and cultural assets of the Gros Morne region.
